To be competitive and add value in the Agricultural and Food Sector
With approximately 310 000(1) enterprises and a business volume of 965 billion Euros, employing 4.4 million people, the Agricultural and Food Industry (AFI) plays a crucial role in the economy of the European Union. It is responsible for 6.8% of European exports and represents about 2% of the GIP, 13.5% of employment and 12.2% of added value in the transformation industry; it is thus the principal client and motor of agriculture. Approximately 70% of agricultural production is transformed by the AFI. In Portugal, with 10 900 enterprises employing 110 000 people, economic activity is over 13 000 million Euros, which represents 16% of the manufacturing industry and 7.6% of the GNP; the sectors of meat, milk and composite animal feeds are the most important.
If we want something well done, it’s best to do it ourselves
This was the principle that led to the development of the STEC brand, a Raporal S.A. brand that, like everything we have done since our foundation, is guided by an absolute value: Quality.
The “Loja da carne” (Meat Shop) is a space for direct sale to the public, with the best products of meat and its derivatives, proceeding from our own production. We guarantee excellent quality at competitive prices.
